job description**

We have 3 **Seed Production Technician** positions available in **Mason City, IL** to work for our client who is one of the largest companies in the world dedicated to the development, growth and marketing of **Agriculture seeds** .

This is a full-time temporary assignment through May 2018. Work schedule: **10 hour days Monday-Friday** ( **7:00am-5:30pm** ) with one of the positions willing to work nights possibly.

**Safety is a priority and it's a clean work environment. All work performed will be indoors.**

Pay rate: $13.00/hour

- Packaging tasks - receiving, scanning, cleaning, sorting, counting and labeling bags of seed

- Inventory tasks - utilizing handheld data collection devices and electronic inventory systems

- Safely lift seed bags weighing 50 - 60 lbs. multiple times per day (okay to use buddy system for heavier bags)

- Maintain a high level of attention to detail

- Communicate effectively with site management of any days off or tardiness

- Follow safety practices, procedures, and engage in this positive safety culture

- Work well independently and in a team environment as a mature professional with a positive attitude

- Perform other duties as assigned

**Required skills/experience:**

- High school diploma or GED

- Basic computer skills and experience with hand-held scanner devices

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to read and write in English

- Ability to bend and to lift up to of 50 lbs. multiple times per day

- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

- Flexibility to work 10 to 12 hour shifts

- Provide/wear your own steel-toed boots

- Experience operating a forklift is preferred
