Job Description:


Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Electronic Hardware Lab Support Engineer supporting Information Hardware section in client's electronics.

Conducting electronic Hardware validation and prototype testing, documentation of test results in report format, PCB modifications and soldering for engineering studies, field failure analysis and troubleshooting, fabrication of test sets to support product development and testing, collaborating with hardware design team, test team and suppliers, create harnesses and test apparatus for testing.


Typical Day:

Working in development lab, working with design and test engineers to define tasks, produce test setups, conduct tests, modify products and report results. Very hands on work on diverse product line components.


Education Requirement:

Associate Degree in engineering technology required; Bachelor''s degree preferred.


Critical Technical Skills:

Schematic analysis, soldering, simple circuit design, hands on experience with handling and soldering surface mount circuit boards, harness fabrication. Ability to read blue prints


Soft Skills Required:

Collaboration, teamwork, written communication for documentation, responsiveness, ability to handle a variety of work assignments.
